Donate

We are a registered charity (number 1039978) and rely heavily on a grant from Oxfordshire County Council and Thame Town Council to deliver our core services.

However, a growing percentage of our funding to support activities, entertainment, outings and treats for our members will come from donations, grant applications, in-house fundraising and membership attendance fees.

Thame Senior Friendship Centre is grateful for any donation that help us continue to support parents and grandparents in our local community.

Your donations help to

  • Create a happy and supportive space to tackle loneliness and boredom
  • Keep membership fees as low as possible for our members
  • Fund activities for our members
  • Fund vehicles to support isolated members of our community

Making a donation online is quick, easy and completely secure, and if you are a UK taxpayer you can choose to gift aid your donation to further increase the funds we receive.

Thank you!

Make a donation online

Givey help smaller charities to get the most money possible from each donation. In order to do this, they add a 5% fee to your donation but in return, they make the platform free for us to use with no fees or annual subscription costs.

If you do not wish to pay the 5% fee then you can just adjust your donation amount as required. For example, if you want to donate £20, then adjust your donation to £19 and you will be charged £19.95 and Thame Senior Friendship Centre will receive £23.75 (including Gift Aid).

When you visit the Givey website to make your donation, once you enter the amount you wish to donate, the table at the bottom of the page will show you how much you will be charged. You can then adjust your donation amount as you wish before proceeding.
