Our service is dependent on the commitment of our excellent team of volunteers.
As a volunteer you are not only giving valuable and greatly appreciated support to our members, but also benefitting your own mental and physical health.

will be carried out for all our volunteers.
Care
Volunteers support the staff at the Centre and the Café with serving refreshments, organising activities and entertainment and providing a friendly, sociable atmosphere with time to listen and chat!
Drive
Volunteer drivers provide the important service of transporting our members to and from the Centre. Drivers use their own cars for an hour in the morning to pick up our members and/or the afternoon to take them home. We do require a clean driving licence and an empathetic and friendly manner. Mileage expenses can be paid.
Volunteers help us with fundraising activities which are vital to generate funds to keep the Centre and the Café running. This can be anything from organising events to publicity, from grant applications to looking for sponsorship, and can be as little or as much committment as you have to offer.
Entertain
We are always looking for entertainers, speakers, singers, musicians or magicians to entertain our members. Expenses or your standard charge can be paid.

Volunteers with other skills e.g. manicurist, hairdresser, podiatrist or crafter are also very welcome to enhance our members’ day out.
