Join Us at the Memories Café

All you need to know about how to become a member of the Memories Café.

Cost of Membership

There is no cost to being a member of the Memories Café, but as the Café has very limited funding, when you attend we have to ask you to pay £10 per per session.  This includes​

  • refreshments

  • entertainment​

On Tuesdays, if carers stay we ask them to make a donation to cover the cost of their refreshments.​

How to apply

In order to come along to the Café you need to be a member. You can fill in the application on your computer and email it to us, or if you prefer print it and send it by post or deliver it by hand.

If you a question or need any help completing the application form, you can call us at the Memories Café between 9:30am and 1:00pm on a Monday or Tuesday, or send us an email outside these hours.

After you've applied

​Once we receive an application form, we will add you to our waiting list and contact you as soon as a place is available. When a place does become available, you’ll then be invited to visit the Café. This will give us the pleasure of meeting you and you the chance to meet the team and other members. We can then decide together whether or not the Memories Café is right for you.

If you do decide to join as a member, and our assessment shows that we can meet your needs in line with our criteria, we will offer you a place.

As a member, you’ll have regular two-way catchups with our team to gather feedback about your experience and ensure that we continue to support you and can meet your needs.
