Join Us at the Friendship Centre
All you need to know about how to become a member of the Friendship Centre.

Cost of Membership
There is no cost to being a member of the Friendship Centre, but as the Centre has very limited funding, when you attend the Friendship Centre we have to ask you to pay £20 per person per session. This includes
-
transport from your home to the Centre and home again. (If you live outside Thame we may ask for a little more to cover the additional travel costs.)
-
refreshments including lunch
-
entertainment
How to apply
In order to come along to the Centre you need to be a member. You can fill in the application on your computer and email it to us, or if you prefer print it and send it by post or deliver it by hand.
If you have a question or need any help completing the application form, you can call us at the Friendship Centre between 8:30am and 3:15pm on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday, or send us an email out of hours.
Privacy notices can be found here. We recommend you review the privacy policy before completing the application form.

After you've applied
Once we receive an application form, we will add you to our waiting list and contact you as soon as a place is available. When a place does become available, you’ll then be invited to visit the Centre for the day. This will give us the pleasure of meeting you and you the chance to meet the team and other members. We can then decide together whether or not the Thame Senior Friendship Centre is right for you.

If you do decide to join as a member, and our assessment shows that we can meet your needs in line with our criteria, we will offer you a place.
As a member, you’ll have regular two-way catchups with our team to gather feedback about your experience and ensure that we continue to support you and can meet your needs.
